The Clicking: new story in Aberrations 2

I’m happy to announce I’ve just signed with Screaming Banshee Press for a story in their next anthology — a sequel to 2020’s Aberrations, which featured my Frozen in the Abyss.

I’ve also had the pleasure of working with editor Chris McInally on two of his Contact books and he’s an excellent pro, so I’m sure I’ll be in great company and really looking forward to getting my hands on the final volume.

This time, I’m co-parent of the creature — called “The Clicking” — with my wife Valentina Kay (yeah, I’m exploiting her style again to pass for a good writer). It’s a tale set in our Canary Islands, where three friends explore an abandoned concrete monstrosity, the decrepit ruin of a half-built, half-crumbled hotel built on the edge of a cliff and upon a volcanic bubble.

Full author list and launch date (expected mid-2026) are yet to be announced, so stay tuned!
