Which is pretty bad, for me, I guess, because now I have to continue with this thing, and it will finally consume what little sanity was left. Well. That happens. My novelette Game got a shortlist Honorable Mention in Ellen Datlow’s The Best Horror of the Year, vol.9. The anthology including the story, The Beauty of Death — featuring many of the top names of today’s horror — is also mentioned in the Summation 2016, and colleagues Daniel Braum and Thersa Matsuura got Honorable Mentions as well.
